There are many ways to come and enjoy the House and its garden:

Individually or in groups, with or without accommodation, for pilgrimages or solidarity trips, times of celebration or prayer during the day, meals, meetings or seminars.

WHO WE ARE

For nearly 60 years, opposite the Old City of Jerusalem, Abraham House has welcomed pilgrims and travelers of all religions who wish to discover the Holy Land and rest in a haven of peace and greenery.

The House of Abraham, created by Secours Catholique – Caritas France, promotes a solidarity that allows to welcome the most modest pilgrims and promote the encounters with the inhabitants of the neighborhood, thanks to the commitment of volunteers.

As part of its mission, it is committed to welcoming local and international communities and associations working for peace and development in Israel and Palestine.

كان شهر اكتوبر شهر مميز في دير ابونا ابراهيم ابتداء من استقبال ستة متطوعين فرنسيين جاؤوا لمساندة بيت ابونا ابراهيم في استقبال الحجاج والمساعدة في التحضيرات اللازمةايضا استضاف بيت ابونا ابراهيم لاول مره مركز فعاليات الطور بيوم مفتوح لكبار السن ويوم العرس الفلسطيني الذي تخلله فعاليات عديدة واستقبل بيت ابينا ابراهيم السيد بنواه اجزافيه المدير التنفيذي الدولي والقسيس فرانسواه اودنيت القسيس العام للمعونة الكاثوليكية -كاريتاس فرنسا . حيث تم عمل اجتماع مع طاقم الدير وبعض المؤسسات الفرنسية والمحليةواستقبل البيت 20 حاج من ميتز -شرق فرنسا واحتفلنا بعيد سيدنا ابراهيم برفقة سيادة المطران بالوتوفي نهاية الشهر تم استقبال طلاب مدارس فعاليات قطف الزيتون ومجموعات كشفية من مختلف المناطقمع خالص الشكر نقول للمتطوعين الى لقاء المرة القادمة والمشاركة في !الفعاليات القادمة.عمل جيد- October was a remarkable month at Maison d’Abraham.It began with welcoming six French volunteers who came to support the house in hosting pilgrims and preparing for the many activities planned throughout the month.For the first time, Maison d’Abraham also hosted the Al-Tur Events Center for an open day dedicated for elderly, as well as the Palestinian Wedding Day, which included a variety of activities.The house also welcomed Mr. Benoît Xavier Loridon, director of International Action, and Father François Odinet, general chaplain of Secours Catholique. Meetings were held with the staff and several French and local organizations.We also welcomed around 20 pilgrims from Metz (eastern part of France.) We celebrated with them the feast of Saint Abraham, led by their bishop; Mgr Ballot.At the end of the month, the house received school students for olive-picking activities, along with scout groups from different regions.With a thankful heart we said “goodbye till the next time” to our volunteers after sharing mission, life and fraternity during a month. Well done!- Octobre a été un mois remarquable à la Maison d’Abraham.Il a commencé par l’accueil de six volontaires français venus soutenir la maison dans l’accueil des pèlerins et la préparation des nombreuses activités prévues tout au long du mois.Pour la première fois, la Maison d’Abraham a également accueilli le Tur Events Center (un centre dédié aux personnes âgées de la Vieille Ville) pour une journée portes ouvertes consacrée aux seniors, ainsi que la Journée du Mariage Palestinien, qui proposait un large éventail d’activités.La maison a également eu le plaisir d’accueillir M. Benoît Xavier Loridon, directeur de l’Action Internationale, et le Père François Odinet, aumônier général du Secours Catholique. Des rencontres ont eu lieu avec l’équipe de la Maison ainsi qu’avec plusieurs organisations françaises et localesNous avons également accueilli une vingtaine de pèlerins de Metz (nord-est de la France). Nous avons célébré avec eux la fête de Saint Abraham, présidée par leur évêque, Mgr Ballot.À la fin du mois, la maison a reçu des élèves pour des activités de récolte des olives, ainsi que des groupes scouts issus de différentes régions.Avec un cœur reconnaissant, nous avons dit « au revoir — à très bientôt » à nos volontaires, après un mois de mission partagée, de vie fraternelle et de service.
